Dear PIERS2025 Participants,

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the 46th Photonics and Electromagnetics Research Symposium (PIERS 2025) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. On behalf of the Technical Program Committee, we are proud to present a diverse and high-quality technical program that reflects the latest advances and emerging trends across the broad domains of electromagnetics, photonics, and related disciplines.
 

This year, we received over 1454 paper submissions from researchers across 55 countries. After a rigorous peer-review process, 1194 papers were accepted for presentation, comprising 894 oral presentations and 300 poster presentations, grouped into 116 technical sessions.

Our program includes 15 keynote talks and 9 hot-topic talks delivered by world-renowned experts, and 320 invited talks by distinguished researchers. There is also special recognition for outstanding contributions through PIERS Young Scientist Awards, Best Student Paper Awards, and Best Student Poster Awards.

This conference owes its technical richness to the enthusiastic participation of the global research community and the dedicated efforts of many volunteer reviewers, session organizers, and track chairs. We wish to express our deepest gratitude to each of them for their time, energy, and commitment to excellence.

In line with PIERS tradition, we also recognize the outstanding efforts of our focus session organizers with PIERS Best Session Organizer Awards & PIERS Session Organizer Awards, and we invite you all to join us at the Awards Banquet on Wednesday, May 7, to celebrate their contributions.

As you engage in the scientific discussions and exchange ideas with peers, we hope you also enjoy the warm hospitality of Abu Dhabi and the unique opportunities for cultural exploration that this vibrant city offers.
