Session Infomation

This session will focus on recent advancements in terahertz (THz) technology and its transformative potential for ultra-fast wireless communication. As data demands increase, THz frequencies offer promising solutions for high-speed transmission and high-resolution sensing. This session will cover key aspects of THz communication systems, including THz wave propagation, scattering effects, and system architecture, addressing the technical challenges of deploying reliable THz networks. Discussions will also focus on THz device innovations --- such as oscillators, modulators, amplifiers, and detectors --- which are essential for efficient THz signal generation, transmission, and reception. Additionally, we will explore the effects of environmental factors on THz wave behavior, examining how scattering, absorption, and diffraction through various materials can impact signal quality and reliability. This session brings together leading researchers and industry professionals to discuss both theoretical frameworks and practical implementations, as well as the experimental progress driving THz technology forward. Participants will gain insights into the challenges and innovations defining THz communication and the potential applications that could shape the future of high-speed wireless networks. By fostering collaboration and discussion, this session aims to bridge the gaps between device-level advancements and system-wide solutions for next-generation THz communications.
