Session Infomation

The field of quantum photonics has witnessed remarkable advancements by harnessing the unique properties of solid-state quantum emitters, such as quantum dots, molecules, ions, atom-like defects. This focus session explores the cutting-edge nanophotonic science and technologies for the control and exploitation of solid-state quantum emitters, unlocking their full potential for quantum technologies.
Key topics include integrated quantum photonic circuits with quantum emitters, micro/nanophotonic structures for tailoring light-emitter interactions, generation and manipulation of non-classical light states, quantum interfaces between emitters and photonic systems, quantum sensing using emitter-based probes, photonic quantum computing/simulation powered by quantum emitters, and more.
By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue among leading experts from diverse areas like nanophotonics, quantum optics, materials science, and quantum information, this session aims to stimulate new perspectives, collaborations, and innovations that will drive the next generation of quantum photonic technologies. Participants will gain invaluable insights into the latest developments in this rapidly evolving field, paving the way for future breakthroughs at the forefront intersection of nanophotonics and quantum science.
