Session Infomation

Many artificial materials and other structures with unique photonic properties related to the metaoptics are designed to date. Most of them are supposed no adjustability of functionality since the time of fabrication. However, the dynamic modification of the response enormously extends the application potential for usage in advanced photonic devices. Tunable photonics takes a great part in modern research concerning metamaterial-related structures.

The aim of the session ‘Tunable photonics’ is to discuss the recent achievements in the topic and to share novel ideas with the community. The session will cover the gamut of approaches for changing the response of photonic structures including reversible and non-reversible modification, fast nonlinear and relatively slow based on phase-changing behavior means, volatile and non-volatile switching, and others.

Submitted Articles

Note: The following submitted articles are not guaranteed to be scheduled in the final program at this stage. The final presentation type and arranged session will be decided by Technical Program Committee.
