PIERS —— A global symposium committed to
advancing photonics and electromagnetics for the benefit of humanity.
The session is focused on the recent progress in chiral metaphotonics, including chiral Mie-resonators, chiral metasurfaces and chiral metadevices, underpinned by the recent discovery of chiral bound states in the continuum. It aims to discuss diverse applications of chiral metastructures for generation, detection, and nonlinear transformation of chiral light, as well as chiral sensing and photochemistry. All aspects of the physics, design, modeling, and optimization of emerging chiral photonic elements and structures, as well as advanced techniques of their fabrication and functional testing, will be covered.
