Session Infomation

The research and development of spatially and temporally modulated optical signals is becoming increasingly important in the fabrication of materials, the manipulation of molecules and high performance communication systems. The precise manipulation of the state of optical signals will lead to a significant increase in the precision of manufacturing and manipulation processes. In addition, effective detection techniques can be used to reduce the size, weight and power (SWaP) of systems. Based on these optical modulation and detection techniques, novel applications are being developed and implemented for both scientific and industrial purposes.
This session will focus on the science and technology for spatial and temporal optical modulation and detection systems.

The session will also include numerical and experimental studies from fundamental science to industrial applications. Spatial and temporal modulated signal generation, manipulation, and detection, including optical and ultrahigh frequency RF vortex, and their applications will be covered in the session.
